PARENT ADVISORY COUNCIL

Harlem Dowling-West Side Center for Children and Family Services rebooted our Parent Advisory Council (PAC) in the spring of 2022. The COVID-19 pandemic significantly impacted children and families across the CIty. Many of our families felt isolated and lacked the supports and resources necessary. Our Parent Advisory Council consists of parents/caregivers from our family support and after school programs. The PAC meets with the leadership of the organization and a cross section of agency staff to discuss programmatic initiatives and issues including staffing, and overall program quality on a quarterly basis. Monthly, the PAC meets virtually via Microsoft Teams, and is supported by the Director of Quality Improvement, FTC & Training.

PAC Leadership Message We are pleased to lead the Harlem Dowling-West Side Center Parent Advisory Council (PAC). We are committed to working with youth and other parents/caregivers to support and help them navigate organizational programs and services. The PAC is committed to helping youth and families address issues and concerns that may arise while participating in services, as well as working collaboratively with the leadership of the organization. Below is our contact information. We are looking for new members to join the PAC that are currently receiving services with Harlem Dowling. We will soon post our monthly virtual meeting schedule.
