On August 12, 2024, Harlem Dowling's Queens Outreach Family Support Program, participated in the Queens borough NYC Administration for Children’s Services (ACS) Back-to-School Resource Fair at York College. This is the third year that we partnered with the ACS borough office to provide school supplies.

Our staff and families participated in the event, along with our Co-Chair of our Parent Advocacy Council. We provided school supplies to 200 children from the southeast Queens community. We engaged with 83 families who expressed interest in learning more about the agency's mission and work in the community. The families were grateful for the supplies and were able to connect with other providers in the community.
