Harlem Dowling was chosen as the recipient of a $20,000 donation from Beyond Meat, the presenting partner at this year’s New York Knicks “Garden of Dreams Foundation Night” on Thursday, December 5, 2024 at Madison Square Garden. In addition to the donation, Beyond Meat provided coupons and reusable bags for pantry recipients that were distributed to Friday, December 6, 2024. Dawn Speaks, Vice President of the Board of Directors, and Karen Dixon, Executive Director, accepted the check on behalf of the organization. Earlier this year, Beyond Meat donated $15,000 to the agency for our Biz Markie Emergency Food Pantry.
