The Harlem Dowling Freedom Fund (HDFF)

Help Harlem Dowling stay strong and grow so that we can continue to provide support to children and families.  The Harlem Dowling Freedom Fund (HDFF) supports programmatic and infrastructure needs that are inadequately or never funded through public monies, but are so very critical to a small organization’s success. Funding for non-profit organizations has become more restrictive often only funding those aspects of programs that relate to direct services to clients. HDFF funds provide just-in-time flexibility to meet a wide range of Harlem Dowling’s needs in an ever more complex financial, social and political environment.  Proceeds from the fund will be utilized to provide emergency cash assistance to families that often includes food and clothing for their children, as well as facilitating community outreach activities, investing in the ongoing professional development of our staff, maintaining donor communications, and meeting our financial obligations.
